This blog is a creative outlet for me. Photography is my first love, but I am passionate about being creative in all parts of life. I'm inspired by color, light, texture, scripture and quotes and especially the people in my life. I love to crochet, decorate my home, cook and I'm learning to sew. A little of each of these things will probably be displayed here, in what I call my creative journal.
I am often asked about the photography gear I use. Here's a short rundown of my equipment.

What/who do you photograph?
People, food and flowers are my favorites.
What kind of lighting do you use?
Preferably, natural light. I'm outdoors quite a bit with the camera. If I'm inside, however, I will open windows, blinds, etc to get the best possible light without using a flash. I like to say I'm an "available light" photographer. ;)
