Brooks works in a really cute little town called Mount Laurel. It is so "throwback." (I can't think of a better word). I mean, when you walk down the street, you feel like you live in the 1950s. The girls and I went to visit Brooks at work today and had lunch with him. When we pulled up in the parking space on the street, I saw this when I opened my door. I thought it was really interesting that someone had dressed their bicycle up, and for whatever reason, it caught me offguard, like it was the last thing I expect to see in this quaint little town.
I think God is like that sometimes. He catches us offguard. He reminds us of His love for us, so we will never forget. God is doing that in my life a lot lately. Not that I forget that He loves me, but I am reminded of His great love daily, if not more. Its always a very unexpected, but welcome blessing.
